Easy Weeknight Dinner - Pesto Protein Pasta with Meatballs

Prep this delicious toddler-approved dinner in under 15 minutes.

Dinner does not have to be laborious or boring. Grabbed these ingredients for Pesto Protein Pasta with Meatballs at Target and Trader Joe’s, but I’m sure you could find similar equivalents at your local grocery store.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Barilla Protein Pasta, various shapes
Earth’s Best Mini Beef Meatballs
Trader Joe’s Turkey Meatballs
Trader Joe’s Basil Pesto
Trader Joe’s frozen veggie mix

Follow the directions on the box to make the pasta. Toss hot pasta with a few tablespoons of the pesto. The meatballs can be done on the stovetop, microwave or in the oven; however I chose to pop them in the Air Fryer at 400 for about 10 minutes, turning halfway through.

If you’re just introducing the meatballs to your little, offer just 1 at a time. The first night, Eli picked up the meatball and handed it to me. We had the leftovers the following night, I put 4 mini meatballs on his plate with a food pick stuck in one — he ate 3 of the 4 meatballs all on his own! #momwin
