Easy Air Fryer Donuts for Hanukkah

This recipe for Easy Air Fryer Donuts turns a typically fried treat into a lightened up indulgence you can make in 10 minutes or less!

Sufganiyot (the Hebrew word for donuts) are traditional jelly-filled donuts eaten during Hanukkah. Since I’m not really into jelly filled donuts, I decided I’d make regular donuts decorated to celebrate the season. These little gems turned out better than imagined and taste good too!

Plus, anything I can turn in to an activity to do with my toddler is a #win in my book.

For Air Fryer Donuts, you need any kind of refrigerated biscuit or crescent dough. For these donuts, I went with a tube of Original Buttermilk Biscuits and a tube of Sweet Blueberry biscuits. Both are absolutely delicious with the blueberry donuts a bit sweeter.

I started with my Air Fryer set on 350, but quickly found that was too hot. For my Air Fryer, 300 degrees seemed to work best. You will have to do a little experimenting with your own. For reference, I have the Cuisinart Air Fryer Toaster Oven (and I love it btw). Just 5-6 minutes per side is perfect; and only about 3 minutes for the donut holes. Let the donuts cool on a rack before dipping in glaze, then adding sprinkles while still wet so that the sprinkles stick.
